We are a husband and wife team who love great food.
We have been incredibly fortunate to have travelled to many destinations and also eat amazing food in every place we have had the pleasure of visiting. We love food from all over the world, but not as much as we love Indian food and particularly food that is very popular in Bengal. We wanted to be able to eat this food in the UK, unfortunately it was incredibly difficult to find from the thousands of Indian restaurants in the country. So we decided to do something about it by launching a pop-up restaurant that served rustic Bengali food enjoyed by millions of people worldwide. We now have our first restaurant in the beautiful village of Stansted Mountfitchet.
Brohmon
Brohmon means journey in Bengali and we are excited to start our journey in Stansted Mountfitchet. We have had a fabulous response to our food from our pop-up events and we have now won several awards since we opened our restaurant. We recently won the best restaurant in Essex at this year’s British Restaurant Awards, and we look forward to seeing you in our restaurant.
